...okay, I'm at work, dealing with phones, people etc. and I get the call of "How much would it be to rent a room?"
I quote the price...($110)
"Sooo...if I only wanted the room for 1 hour it would be...what...$15?"
ARGH!!!!
I swear to whatever patron deity of hotel clerks that are out there that I'm going to slap the next person who asks for an hourly rate!

4:00 am - a pause

I've decided that this week I need to figure out what do I need and what I don't need in my life. Much harder to do than I thought it would be. Part of me is to a point that being alone would be the better alternative. And with that type of thought, it's no wonder I'm in eeyore mode. Mind you...I did something I didn't expect myself to do, I filled out and applied at DCCC. Yes, I'm going back to college. Community College, mind you, but it's a start. So much going on in my head, so hard to put it all down at this point. More later.

As to my life as of this point: (the Ciff Notes version) Got tested for the big "C" (again)...Don't have it (and there was much rejoicing!). Got to see a really good friend, YAY! Work is good, my family is good. Other than a vacation for myself, just to unwind, what could I ask for?...Oh I know, someone to pay my medical bills! (I kid...sorta)

So, I worked the 12-8 am shift yesterday/today, and came in tonight at 7pm. I am tired. So very tired. When I'm this tired, I tend to forget that I should keep things between 2 people at times. I know this doesn't excuse things, however, it just happens when I get under 4 1/2 hours sleep.
Why only 4 1/2 hours? Well....I finally wound down at 12 noon, since I had to get things for dinner, yadda yadda yadda, then my son got me up at 2 pm to get money from me, then the dog had to go out, then my dad called and complained about me asking him for money, which ate into any form of rest I could get today. Blah.
I am a zombie.

that says it all, really. The flight down was no big deal, my family was fun, and infuriating at the same time, but when it came to getting home, well, that was a big ol problem. The weather was a major factor in delays, but the way my mom handled things left much to be desired. I made a few phone calls while waiting for the plane, while my mom threw one of the largest hissy fits known to man. This has put me in a very bad mood,and I'm not quite out of it yet. But, on the upside, I'm back to work tonight, so it'll be good to talk to co-workers. Ahh well
